The larger of our two clamp lights, the COAST CL40R clamp light packs powerful performance into precise task lighting—with an impressive 3900 lumens from its wide-angle flood beam. Featuring a high-strength aluminum clamp and larger light body, this rock-solid work light mounts firmly to a variety of mountings—from frame studs to truck doors. The clamp also serves as a dynamic stand when placed on a flat surface. Once attached, the light can rotate up to 360 degrees and tilt up to 115 degrees for optimal light control. Designed with the COAST Dual Power system, the rechargeable CL40R is powered by an integrated COAST ZITHION™ battery. In addition to the rechargeable ZITHION™ battery, the CL40R can also run continuously on standard AC/DC power. To operate the CLamp Light continuously, plug the USB-C cable (included) into the Clamp Light and plug the cable into an available power source, then turn the light on. While in continuous use, the CL40R operates at a single setting and reduced level. The clamp light does not charge in continuous use and must be turned off to fully charge. A battery level indicator ensures you know when more power is needed, and the battery also serves as a power bank for external devices. Constructed from premium materials, the CL40R is IP54 rated for water resistance.
